(MENAFN) Emirates airlines announced it will start operating a one-off Airbus A380 service to Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport, starting September 30, Emirates 24/7 reported.
The airline currently operates four daily, non-stop flights between Dubai and Tehran and this one-off is an indication of the developing transport industry of Iran, and the good relationship between Emirates Airline and the country, which the airline began servicing back in 1990.
“Emirates began flights to Tehran in the Islamic Republic of Iran when the airline was only five years old, and now it has become the latest airport on our network to welcome our flagship A380,” Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President said.
