(MENAFN) Emirates announced it is planning to add a fourth daily service, and its third A380, to its New York service starting from March 8, Gulf Business reported.
Emirates said that the new service will provide more choices for its passengers connecting later in Dubai, and flying onwards to the many destinations provided by Emirate’s vast network around the world.
In addition to its four flights to New York, Emirates also have direct services to Boston as well as Chicago, which the carrier began serving since August of this year.
The addition of this fourth flight is expected to be a source of concern for US carriers, which are already facing a very tough competition from all three Gulf carriers, which all serve New York directly.
