(MENAFN) Emirates Airline was charged by the Australian transportation authorities for breaking an overnight curfew at Sydney Airport, Arabian Business reported.
The Australian Department of Infrastructure and Transport is charging the airline with three breaches of the late night/early morning curfew between 2011 and 2013.
The Dubai-based carrier faces a maximum fine of USD522,258 for each breach.
The curfew starts from 11:00 PM until 06:00 AM and aims to reduce noise disturbance.
