(MENAFN) GE Power & Water announced it has signed a long-term contractual services agreement (CSA) with Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA), Gulf News reported.
Under the agreement, EGA is tasked with assuring that the operations of GE’s installed base of turbines that power Taweelah, the largest single-site aluminum smelter complex, in Abu Dhabi would be seamless and uninterrupted.
GE said that the new CSA strengthens the existing partnership it has with both Emirates Aluminum (EMAL) and Dubai Aluminum (DUBAL), which together have an annual production capacity that represents nearly 50 percent of the total primary aluminum producer in the GCC region as a whole.
