(MENAFN) Emirates Airline announced that starting January 1, the carrier would boost capacity on the Ghana route as a result of strong demand, reported Arabian Business.
The company said that the plane used on the Accra-Dubai service will be upgraded to a Boeing 777-300ER, which would raise passenger capacity by nearly 41 percent.
Moreover, the aircraft has a cargo capacity of 23 tons that will provide a further 56 tons of weekly capacity on the route.
At the current time, Emirates Airline has daily services to Accra, operated with an A340-500 plane, offering 258 seats in a 3-class configuration.
