(MENAFN) Emirates Airline plans to launch a daily flight to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, as it seeks to boost business travel from Japan, Arabian Business reported.
The new non-stop service from Dubai to Tokyo is set to start on June 3, using three-class Boeing 777-200LR, the airline said.
The carrier’s freighter unit, Emirates SkyCargo, will also add 210 tonnes of cargo capacity per week, to boost Japanese exports, which include mechanical components, electronic goods and automobile parts, as well as imports of gas and oil products.
Emirates’ partnership with Japan Airlines will also be expanded to include a code share on the new Dubai-Haneda-Dubai services, the airline said.
