Emirates to start Phuket service in Dec

(MENAFN) Emirates Airline’s president, Tim Clark, stated that starting December, the carrier will launch flights to Thailand’s Phuket on a daily basis, reported Arabian Business.

Clark said that the service, Emirates’ second to Thailand, will become the company’s 15th route launched in 2012 and the second in South East Asia, following on from Ho Chi Minh City in June.

At the current time, the Dubai-based airline which has been operating flights to Bangkok since 1990 operates 4 daily flights between Dubai and the city, including one with an Airbus A380 aircraft.

It is worth noting that Emirates 178 aircraft fleet operates services to 125 destinations in 74 countries.
