(MENAFN) Swedish Ericsson reported 12 percent increase in it’s Middle East sales in the fourth quarter, driven by Saudi market performance, Arabian Business reported.
Ericsson’s Middle East sales increased 42 percent from the same period a year earlier, and by two percent for the full year, the company said.
The company explained that Saudi Arabia developed especially favourably in the quarter despite the political unrest in MENA region which had a negative impact on its sales.
It added that services also developed favourably as regional operators look for opportunities to increase efficiencies.
Ericsson is a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and services to mobile and fixed network operators.
