(MENAFN) UAE’s Etihad Airways said that around the mid of next month, the carrier would launch its fifth route to North Africa through flying to Tripoli in Libya, reported Gulf News.
The company added that at the beginning, the three return flights per week would operate via Alexandria, however, when infrastructure in Tripoli could be able to support these flights, the carrier would move to non-stop services.
The Abu Dhabi airline also said that the service would be operated by an Airbus A320 plane, which would depart from Abu Dhabi at 8am on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, whereas the return flight would leave Tripoli at 4:15 pm.
It is worth noting that the flight schedule will provide suitable timings for UAE-based passengers, moreover, it will allow fast and seamless connections across the carrier’s broader GCC network.
