(MENAFN) Etihad Cargo, a unit Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways, is set to expand weekly cargo service to Doha, from September 3, Arabian Business reported.
The new freighter service will be operated using an Airbus A300-600F freighter, with a capacity of 42 metric tons, the airline said in a statement.
Etihad Cargo has a fleet of six freighters and operates to a total of 86 destinations internationally.
Recently, Etihad Cargo reported an 18 percent increase in July cargo volumes, nearing a record 33,000 tons.
Total revenues for the month were up by four percent from June and eight percent higher compared to a year earlier.
