(MENAFN) Etihad Airways announced that it will extend its services to Canada after signing a codeshare agreement with Air Canada, reported Gulf News.
The agreement will enable Etihad to provide customers with codeshare benefits by feeding its traffic to the North American continent.
The deal, as noticed by some, is identical to the agreement Emirates has with Qantas.
It is worth noting, that Etihad has recently made a deal with India’s Jet Airways, which could make the carrier’s hub in Abu Dhabi a transit point between Air Canada and India.
