(MENAFN) In its quest to become a global leisure hub, Abu Dhabi is offering incentives on tourism and flights, to attract tourists and lure traders to do business in the Gulf emirate, Arabian Business reported.
The initiative “Access Abu Dhabi” was jointly launched by Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi).
The initiative will provide the opportunity for national and international trade partners to benefit from preferred incentive packages which will include dedicated marketing support, sales support, along with joint roadshows and familiarisation programmes, according to the statement.
TCA Abu Dhabi data showed that 1.74 million people stayed in the emirate’s hotels and hotel apartments during the January-September period, a 15 percent increase compared to the same period in 2011.
