(MENAFN) Expo 2020 is expected to provide UA’s economy with USD24.23 billion and improve various sectors of the country, according to the Emirates 24/7.
Reem Al Hashimi, UAE Minister of State and the Managing Director of the Expo 2020 executive body, said that the Expo 2020 would take place from October 2020 to April 2021 to coincide with the celebration of 50 years of the Federation.
Reem Al Hashimi added: “If you want to know the extent of the opportunities available, you need only to look at the requirements needed to host 25 million visitors, 70 percent of which will come from abroad. That means that about 17.5 million people will conduct about 33 million visits to the Expo site. That means every sector in the UAE will be involved in the project.”
