Fluor to set up Shell’s downstream facilities in ME

(MENAFN) Texas-based engineering firm Fluor Corporation has inked an enterprise framework deal with Royal Dutch Shell for engineering and project management services for Shell’s downstream projects in Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EAME), Fluor said in a press release.

Fluor is already working on Shell projects in Malaysia, the Philippines and Canada, and provides operations and maintenance services at Shell sites in Australia, Qatar, Russia and the Netherlands.

The 100-year old company said that it will provide design, project and construction management, home-office and site-based engineering services.

The five-year deal includes an option to extend the contract for another five years and opportunities to include Shell’s upstream projects and other geographic regions.
