Flydubai posts 82% increase in passenger traffic

(MENAFN) Flydubai said that in the 12 months ended January; passenger traffic hiked 82 percent from the same period a year earlier, reported Gulf News.

The carrier added that in 2012, the number of passengers will be higher, as the company launches more routes throughout the region and beyond.

On the other hand, it said that at the current time, it operates 23 Boeing Next Generation 737 aircraft on 46 routes throughout the GCC region, the wider Middle East, the Indian sub-continent, Africa and Asia.

It is worth noting that recently, Flydubai launched flights to Sana’a, the Yemeni capital.
