(MENAFN) flydubai unveiled plans to extend services in Saudi Arabia in February, Arabian Business reported.
The low-cost carrier will add Taif as the seventh destination in the kingdom, providing that it will increase the frequency of flights to the existing Saudi destinations. Flights to Taif will operate three times a week.
The airline currently operates two flights daily to Dammam and Riyadh following increasing demand for flights between Dubai and the two cities, said flydubai.
The launch of Taif route will take flydubai’s total weekly flights across Saudi Arabia to 55.
Taif is gaining prominence around the region as an alternative short-holiday destination. It is also an alternative gateway for travelers to the holy city.
