(MENAFN) Flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, announced the launch of flights to Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, which will begin in October and expand the airline’s network in Africa to 12 destinations, Emirates 24/7 reported.
Flydubai also recently announced the launch of flights to Bujumbura in Burundi, Entebbe in Uganda and Kigali in Rwanda, with these flights expected to start operating in September, and the airlines said that these new routes will support the comprehensive network in Africa which the carrier is building.
These new flight join the airliner’s previous routes in Africa which include to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, Alexandria in Egypt, Khartoum and Port Sudan in Sudan, Djibouti’s capital Djibouti, Juba in South Sudan as well as Bujumbura in Burundi, Entebbe in Uganda and Kigali in Rwanda.
“With the addition of these three new destinations in Tanzania we’ve doubled our network in North and East Africa this year, strengthening our commitment to serving previously underserved markets,” CEO of Flydubai said.
