(MENAFN) Dubai-based budget carrier flydubai is set to launch a service to the Saudi Arabian city of Tabuk on November 7, Khaleej Times reported.
CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said that Tabuk is an emerging leisure hub, providing an alternative holiday spot to growing number of families preferring to travel within the region.
Tabuk is witnessing a number of important infrastructure developments, including upgrades to Tabuk Airport, drawing international travel trade companies such as global hoteliers to the city, and thus increasing its tourism appeal.
Flights to Tabuk will operate between Terminal 2 on the north side of Dubai International Airport and Tabuk Airport.
flydubai already serves Saudi destinations including Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, Dammam, Gassim, Taif and Yanbu.
