France’s Accor to recruit 1,500 hotel staff in UAE

(MENAFN) Accor Middle East’s Managing Director, Christophe Landais, said that over the next 12 months, the hospitality group would recruit nearly 1,500 staff in the UAE, reported Emirates 24/7.

Landais added that in 2012 and early 2013, the French firm would launch 7 new properties in the UAE, which would require additional staff.

He also said that it would recruit 280 hoteliers for Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lake Dubai; 320 for Novotel and Adagio Al Bustan Abu Dhabi; 250 for Novotel and Ibis Mussafah Abu Dhabi; 290 for Novotel/ Ibis/ Adagio Fujairah; and 320 for Novotel Dubai Al Barsha.

Moreover, the group plans to launch 10 hotels in the region in 2012.

It is worth noting that Accor will post the new positions on its website and also organize Open Days in the coming months.
