(MENAFN) Accor, the French hotel group, announced that in 2013, it will launch 2 Sofitel hotels in the emirate of Dubai, reported Arabian Business.
The company said that the first property, Sofitel The Palm, will be located on the east crescent of the Palm Jumeirah island, and will be launched in next year’s first half.
The hotel, which will comprise 361 contemporary guestrooms and suites, will also include its signature So Spa with 28 treatment rooms, including 4 outdoor cabanas, 4 meeting rooms and a 600-person ballroom, in addition to 10 F&B outlets.
On the other hand, Sofitel’s second hotel will be located in the downtown and will be launched in the second half of the year.
The property will consist of 350 rooms and suites, 5 restaurants and 4 lounges, in addition to event facilities for up to 700 people, a ballroom and 12 meeting rooms.
It is worth noting that at the current time, Sofitel runs one hotel in Dubai’s marina area, The Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach.
