05 Nov 2012

(MENAFN) The House of Smalto’s managing director, Thierry Le Guenic, announced that the Paris-based high-end fashion brand has inked a deal with Chalhoub Group, the regional luxury retail operator, to expand its presence in the Middle East and the GCC, reported Arabian Business.

Le Guenic said that under the terms of the deal, Chalhoub Inc, a unit of the Chalhoub Group, would become Smalto’s sole distributor in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt.

According to the agreement, five Smalto stores will be launched in the region from 2014.

It is worth noting that the deal will make all of the Smalto collections available in the Middle East, including the Smalto made-to-measure service for suits and shirts, both ready-to-wear clothing and accessories.
