GCC generates USD100bn in airport construction projects

(MENAFN) The GCC is fuelling USD100bn in airport expansion and construction projects in the six countries, with the Intl’ Airport Transport Association (IATA).

Meanwhile, as Middle East airports increase, visual and aural considerations are vital for increasing passenger numbers and offering a high-quality traveller experience.

Additionally, Dubai Intl’ Airport is the world’s busiest airport and Al Maktoum Intl’ Airport will have one of the largest capacities at 160mn annual passengers.

On the other hand, Abu Dhabi International Airport is set to reach 40mn passengers by 2017 with the new Midfield Terminal.
