GCC-Iran annual trade at USD30b

(MENAFN) Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the value of trade between the country and GCC states stands at USD30 billion a year, reported Tehran Times.

The main trading partners with Tehran in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) are the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman.

Persian Gulf countries’ main imports from Iran include oil, food products, handmade carpets and agricultural products.

It is worth noting that the UAE, Iraq, Afghanistan and China are the main importers of Iran’s urea fertilizer, polyethylene and tar.
