(MENAFN) The mobile phone market in the GCC States plunged more than 33 percent year on year, dragged by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Accordingly, the whole shipments in the third quarter reached 5.6mn units compared to 8.4mn a year ago.
However, the UAE shipments dropped by almost 29 percent in the cited period of the year to 1.28mn compared to 1.8mn a year ago.
On the other hand, the fourth quarter is the best quarter of the year for mobile shipments, with the GCC market predicted to grow more than 3 percent over.
