GCC’s stock of bonds up to USD243 b

(MENANF) GCC debt issuance, both bonds and sukuk, was slower in the third quarter, but year-on-year growth in the stock of outstanding instruments kept a steady pace versus the same period last year, The Peninsula reported.

The NBK�s GCC Economic Update on “GCC Debt Market” showed that GCC bonds hit USD243.5 billion at the end of the third quarter.

Outstanding bonds balance increased USD23.5 billion so far this year, registering a 16 percent increase from last year.
