GE Lighting UAE sales to post significant growth

(MENAFN) GE Lighting to register a double digit growth of its sales by year-end, driven by the implementation of sales restriction, Khaleej Times reported.

The estimated significance growth is attributed to the restrictions on the import of incandescent bulbs to the UAE for use in residential areas in place.

“The move to phase out incandescent bulbs reflects the long-term vision of the government to promote sustainable development,” GE Lighting”s GM for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey said.
