GE obtains Jordan power plant maintenance deal

(MENAFN) Global tech and engineering conglomerate GE proclaimed its power unit has inked a multi-year deal with Samra Elect Co. in Jordan to offer full maintenance services.

Furthermore, the 1.175MW Samra Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant feeds power into the national grid for both residential and commercial use.

Additionally, the deal will comprise seven GE gas turbines that are implemented and operating at the Samra Station.

Meanwhile, it will help to lower maintenance costs, enhance the availability of assets at the plant and boost operational output and efficiency.
