(MENAFN) Germany-based e-commerce group Rocket Internet is set to buy Kuwaiti food delivery service Talabat for almost USD169.6 million, Gulf Daily News reported.
Talabat, which is the latest addition to the German group, operates in Middle East countries including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, collaborating with restaurants such as Burger King, KFC and Pizza Hut.
Rocket said its 50 percent-owned Foodpanda had made a deal to buy 24h.ae, which it said was a key player in the UAE.
