Global design firms eye investing in UAE’s Burj 2020 District

(MENAFN) Four global design firms have shown their interest in building Dubai’s upcoming commercial development, Burj 2020 District, according to Arab News.

Developer Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) said that its new ‘Burj 2020′ District’ will have the world’s tallest commercial tower as its center piece.

Ahmed bin Sulayem, executive chairman of DMCC said: “The masterplan design competition is the next natural step of the development. We have selected four of the world’s top creative, specialized firms to design a Masterplan for the Burj 2020 District.”

Ahmed added: “Smart solutions will be a principle feature of our new development, affording higher levels of efficiency and urban sustainability a pre-requisite for the global business community of the future.”
