02 May 2012

(MENAFN) Qatar’s Mannai Automotive, the sole dealer of GMC, Cadillac and Subaru in the country stated that during the first quarter, GMC sales in the nation surged 50 percent to 10,790 units, reported The Peninsula.

The company said that sales in the period were driven by high demand for crossovers, SUVs and pickups, adding that sales of the Yukon climbed 38 percent, whereas sales of the Yukon XL grew 25 percent.

Moreover, sales of GMC Denali range jumped 31 percent, attributing the increase to growing demand for the Sierra Denali.

It is worth noting that GMC overall sales in the Middle East recorded a 44 percent growth in the first quarter.
