(MENAFN) The global halal economy is projected to reach USD6.4tr by next year against USD3.2tr, reported in 2012, whereas Dubai reinforces its position as the capital of the global Islamic economy opens doors for Halal Expo Dubai.
Furthermore, the GCC nations import USD50bn worth of halal products, while the UAE”s Halal import bill is USD20bn or almost 40 percent of the GCC’s halal imports.
Additionally, UAE is home to 5.000 importers, manufacturers and stockiest of halal products.
Dubai Food Park has inked a Dh1.35bn agreement to establish a UAE-China food industrial cluster that will support China”s USD1tr investment in One Belt One Road initiative.
