(MENAFN) US-based Harsco has recently signed a tenancy agreement with Sohar Port and Freezone, Times of Oman reported.
The agreement stresses the important role Sohar Port and Freezone play in the Sultanate”s economy.
Harsco”s project in Sohar is to collect by-products from steelmaking industries in the port and Freezone and other parts of the region to produce valuable environment-friendly raw materials for other industries.
Harsco operates in 37 countries and more than160 sites and has more than 80 years of experience as an industry leader.
