Honda recalls 812 vehicles in UAE

13 Mar 2013

(MENAFN) UAE’s Al Futtaim Honda announced that it has called back 812 vehicles in the country to carry out service works, reported Emirates 24/7.

The car dealer added that the service campaign covers 2003-04 My Honda MR-V and Odyssey, and started on March 7.

It said that if a customer often tries to remove the key before placing the affected car in the park mode, the lever may wear, which would enable the key to be removed even when the vehicle is not in park mode.

In case the ignition key is removed in this mode and the parking brake is not set, the car could roll away.

It is worth noting that Honda’s UAE campaign is being carried out jointly with the Department of Consumer Protection at the Ministry of Economy, to provide consumers with the needed protection.
