(MENAFN) InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) stated that it inked a deal with Kuwait’s Almadina Real Estate Development to launch the Crowne Plaza Resort in Ras Al Khaimah in 2015, reported Khaleej Times.
The world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms said that the 443-room resort will span over 18,000 square meters, and will comprise 9 food and beverage outlets.
Furthermore, the development will include 6 meeting rooms for corporate guests, leisure and fitness facilities that include a spa, fitness centre, beauty salon, nursery and indoor souk.
Due to its location, near Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and only an hour’s drive from Dubai, the hotel is forecasted to attract international tourists and local residents.
It is worth noting that the resort will be located on the Marjan Island development, which lies on 2.7 million square meters of reclaimed land.
