Indian firms to explore exports, tie-ups in Oman

(MENAFN) A group of Indian firms will visit Oman to explore chances for exports, business tie-ups, investments and project work in Oman, at a trade promotion in March 30.

Furthermore, the event will focus on healthcare, food industry, information technology, mining & mineral and construction and infrastructure sectors.

There are more than 2,900 Indian enterprises in Oman with estimated investments of USD 4.5bn, while Omani investments in India value USD 3bn.

The strategic partnership, cooperation between the two sides has been increasing to USD 5.77bn in 2013-14, since been declining in value.
