Inflation rate in Jordan drops by 1.3pct

(MENAFN) Inflation rate in Jordan declined in the Jan-July period of this year at 1.3 percent, compared with the number registered in the same period of 2015.

Furthermore, main items that contributed to the fall were transportation, fuel and lighting, vegetables, fried and canned legumes and nuts.

On the other hand, other groups whose prices grew amid the same period included rents, entertainment, tobacco, cigarettes and clothes.
