(MENAFN) Saudi Internet expert, Rashid Al-Balla, said that the country is awaiting an internet industry boom, quoting data concerning the number of internet subscribers and users in the Kingdom, reported Arab News.
Al-Balla said that the number of internet users in Saudi hit thirteen million, thus accounting for 46 percent of total population.
The expert added that the telecommunication industry in Saudi witnessed rapid development of technologies being used by the three operators, notably the G4 technology and expanded use of the Internet through mobile sets.
