(MENAFN) Iran and Oman will make more efforts to closer ties and shared investments in the energy sector, while the main project between the two sides was an undersea gas pipeline.
Furthermore, this project will connect Iran’s vast gas reserves to Omani liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plants, whereas Oman expects fast completion of the pipeline.
Accordingly, the two countries are interested in expanding relations and joint investment, and are taking the important steps to achieve this.
Additionally, both sides discussed shared investment in refining, oil storage, and spreading the petrochemical sectors in both sides, as Oman’s minister stated.
