(MENAFN) Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Roknabadi, said that Iranian firms would establish a dam in north of Lebanon, following an agreement inked between the two countries, reported Tehran Times.
Roknabadi added that the two sides plan to exchange experiences in technical and engineering fields, mainly in oil, gas and electricity industries, moreover, they would boost bilateral trade, which grew to USD180 million in 2010 from USD78.4 million in 2006.
He also said that since 2011, Lebanon and Iran signed 26 Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs).
It is worth noting that Iran showed its willingness to execute oil exploration operations in Lebanon, in addition to establishing fuel reserve tanks in the city of Tripoli.
