(MENAFN) The Iraqi Oil Ministry said that the country”s average oil exports last month went up to 2.381 million barrels per day (bpd), up from 2.25 million bpd in the month before it, Xinhua reported.
The country exported a total 71.43 million barrels during the month, which brought USD7.3 billion in revenues.
The ministry spokesman said: “The amounts of oil exports and the revenues for November were higher despite bad weather, ongoing maintenance in the southern terminals and the (frequent) suspension of pumping through the (northern) Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline due to sabotage.”
Iraq heavily depends on oil as around 95 percent of the country”s budget is from oil revenues.
