(MENAFN) Jaguar Land Rover stated that in the April to September period, its sales of the Jaguar brand in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region jumped 21 percent, reported Arabian Business.
The company said sales of Land Rover climbed 33 percent in the period, which represents the first half of the firm’s 2012-2013 fiscal year, from last year’s same time.
It added that sales of the Jaguar XF increased 38 percent in the 6-month period.
Sales of Land Rover were driven by continued demand for its LR2/Freelander 2 and Range Rover Evoque cars, moreover, the release of new products, including 13MY Jaguar vehicles and the All-New Range Rover, is expected to allow the company to post strong growth.
It is worth noting that the MENA region is Jaguar’s fifth largest market globally and Land Rover’s sixth largest market.
