Jordan approves Plan to face Syrian crisis worth USD7.6b

(MENAFN) During the ninth meeting of the Jordan Response Platform for the Syria Crisis in Jordan, the government and the international community approved the 2017-2019 Jordan Response Plan (JRP).

The meeting was held at the Prime Ministry was attended by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury, a number of ministers, ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries to Jordan.

And the prime minister said that the Syrian refugee crisis is the most unique and most difficult crisis that faces the world since World War II due to its impact on security and economic growth.

Also, he said that Jordan which has been providing support to all those who seek refuge, is in need of financial and humanitarian aid.
