(MENAFN) Jordanian Prime Minister said that the country’s economy is at its worst stages due to the arrival of refugees from neighboring countries, KUNA reported.
He said that the huge number of refugees put more pressure on the national economy. “We are at the worst economic situation in the Kingdom’s history”, he added.
Ensour pointed out that his country is currently facing five economic challenges namely, energy, water, agriculture, refugees, and market instability.
There are several economic and political variables at the region, which are and their outcomes remain unpredictable, all of which surround Jordan, he said.
