Jordan-MGH to build 7.000MW Iraq power plant

(MENAFN) Jordan-based Mass Group Holding has partnered with GE in order to build a mega power plant in Iraqi city of Baghdad, which will reach 7.000MW.

Moreover, the firm has commenced simple cycle commercial ops of four advanced GE 9F gas turbines under phase I of the Ministry of Elect’s Baghdad Power plant in Besmaya.

In addition, the new project, being built by MGH, will add 3.000MW of power to the grid when totally operational.

The Jordan group proclaimed that it has already received advanced equipment for MGH’s power plants in Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk.
