Jordan to export phosphate fertilizer to Bangladesh at USD280mn

(MENAFN) Jordan Phosphate Mines Co. inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gov’t of Bangladesh to export 270mn Metric Tons of Rock Phosphate at USD280mn for 3 years.

Meanwhile, the firm will supply Bangladesh Chem Industries Corp with 150 thousand M/T of rock phosphate and 120 thousand tons of phosphoric acid.

Moreover, the deal, renewed on a yearly basis for 3 years, is worth USD80mn at the first year and USD200mn for the coming two years.

Both countries emphasized the importance of the contract in enhancing the relationship between the JPMC and the Bengali government.
