Jordan to receive USD2.8bn humanitarian aid

(MENAFN) Minister of Planning and Intl’ Co-op proclaimed that the total value of foreign, regular, extra and humanitarian aid pledged to Jordan this year to reach USD2.8bn.

Moreover, soft loans are ready to make up USD939.7mn of the estimated aid amount, whereas grants will support Jordan”s plan amounted to USD1.18bn.

Meanwhile, regarding the extra aid Jordan has received to finance the Syrian crisis, which reached USD1.02bn.

In addition, the value of aid, which shows the needs and projects, which will enhance Jordan”s immunity, is part of the total commitment to offer extra grants of USD700mn.
