Jordan trade balance deficit grows by 2.7pct in H1

(MENAFN) Exports in the kingdom declined by 7.3 percent amid the first half of this year to almost JD2.51bn, compared with the number posted in the same period last year.

Additionally, imports also dropped by 1.1 percent to JD7.006bn, compared with JD7.086bn in the cited period of 2015.

On the other hand, the trade balance deficit jumped by 2.7 percent, accounting to almost JD4.5bn.

The Kingdom principal commercial partners, exports to the North American Free Trade Agreement nations saw an increase, basically to the US.
