Jordanian remittances up 3.2 percent in 10 months

(MENAFN) The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) reported that Jordanian’s remittances increased at the end of last month, The Jordan Times reported.

Remittances by Jordanians at the end of October increased by 3.2 percent, a statement said, reporting that the total remittances in the period hit USD3 billion up from USD2.68 billion in the same period last year.

In October alone, remittances increased to USD297.6 million, representing a 4.8 percent increase from the same month a year ago.
