Jordan’s budget deficit drops to USD446mn

MENAFN) Jordan’s budget deficit dropped to JD317mn at the end of July this year from JD374mn in the same period of last year.Moreover, the deficit before foreign grants would have been JD565.7mn at the same month of this year, whereas it would have been JD681.6mn of 2015.In addition, public profits at the end of July, involving local and foreign grants reached almost JD4.110bn, compared to JD3.841bn of 2015.Meanwhile, local revenues increased by JD3.862bn standing at JD3.862.2bn compared to JD3.534bn in the same period of last year.
