(MENAFN) Jordan’s exports amounted to USD3.74 billion in the January-August period of 2014, compared to USD3.69 billion for the same period of last year, QNA reported.
In terms of sectors, chemicals and cosmetics topped the list of exports reaching USD781.66 million followed by mining industries with USD681.85 million, engineering, electrical and information technology industries with USD555.32 million.
While in terms of countries, Iraq, with USD808.37 million, accounted for the largest amount of exports, Saudi Arabia with USD518.76 million came next, then India with USD354.28 million and the USA with USD348.65 million.
